KAD Courses, Workshops & Online Training
Discover learning that empowers You to lead better ways of working.
Summary
If you want to deliver more of what your customer needs in a much shorter time, then the Playing Lean Product Development Workshop provides an interactive simulation that’s guaranteed to fast-track your learning.
Join us as we form teams and race to sell our online product to the mass market using the latest Playing Lean board game. Experience the life-like decision making, see the consequences of your decisions, juggle where to apply your limited resources and measure the impact on your sales. Practice the skills you’ll need in a no-risk, safe learning environment where ‘The Fastest Learner Wins!’.
Learning by doing is by far the fastest way to pick new skills and thinking patterns plus simultaneously gain the confidence that it will work for you, so that you can take them back to work and start applying them straight away!
Check out the list of some of the common anti-patterns in product development. If you answer “Yes! I have you seen these”, then this workshop is for you:
- Customers are asked in upfront market research, but you’re too busy to engage them again until the final product or feature is released months later
- Teams have to keep coding a feature that they know the customers no longer want, because no one in management wants to suffer the political backlash from saying “We got it wrong”
- An MVP in your organisation takes months (not days) till every bell and whistle is added to make it ‘perfect’
- ‘Experimenting’ means testing to find the prettiest mock-ups and design before anything is built
- The impact of the feature is rarely measured or reported because you’re too busy getting through the long list of features waiting in the backlog
- There are more fictitious customer personas on the wall than there are actual customers in your beta group
Playing Lean is serious professional development, but it is also seriously fun! Bring yourself or a team from your business to learn and play together!
