Prerequsites
This is an entry level workshop. There are no KAD curriculum prerequisites.
Upon receiving payment to confirm your booking, participants will be emailed a link requesting they watch this 3 minute video ‘What is a Kanban Board?’ prior to attending the simulation.
Having personally used or seen a kanban board as a tool to visualise work is helpful but definitely not a requirement. Very basic graphs are used in the simulation so it is not necessary to have any knowledge of statistics.
Simulation Technical Requirements
The format of this workshop is 100% online so participants may attend from different geographic locations. The things each attendee needs to get ready to access and use the simulation are simple.
Prior to the simulation, each participant needs to:
- Install the latest version of any major web browser;
To participate in the simulation, on the day, each player needs to have:
- Their own laptop with a web camera; and
- A working headset with a microphone; and
- Fast and consistent internet connection, preferably with cable (not just wi-fi); and
- Internet Browser permissions set to allow access to the video conferencing application proposed by the facilitator (such as zoom, skype, Webex, Teams).
